STORM FORCE WIND WARNING FOR NORTHERN AREA

SITUATION
At 2100 UTC Tropical Cyclone Narelle was centred within 20 nautical miles of
 latitude thirteen decimal six south (13.6S)
 longitude one hundred and thirty five decimal three east (135.3E)
Recent movement : west southwest at 11 knots
Maximum winds   : 50 knots
Central pressure: 984 hPa
The tropical cyclone is expected to weaken to a tropical low in the next 3 to 6
hours.

AREA AFFECTED
Within 100 nautical miles in NE quadrant
  and within 80 nautical miles in SE quadrant
  and within 40 nautical miles in SW quadrant
  and within 40 nautical miles in NW quadrant.

FORECAST
Maximum winds to 50 knots near the centre easing to 30 knots by 0900 UTC 22
March.

Winds above 48 knots within 30 nautical miles in NE quadrant
  and within 50 nautical miles in SE quadrant with very rough seas and moderate
swell and easing by 0000 UTC 22 March.

Winds above 34 knots within 100 nautical miles in NE quadrant
  and within 80 nautical miles in SE quadrant
