MARINE WEATHER STATEMENT FOR THE PACIFIC WATERS ISSUED BY ENVIRONMENT
CANADA AT 10:17 A.M. PDT FRIDAY 8 MAY 2026.

A warm front from Bowie to Cape Scott will move northward to lie from
Hecate Strait to the Central Coast this evening. Ahead of the front,
gale force east to southeast winds will spread throughout waters
north of northern Vancouver Island. In the wake of the front, strong
to gale force southerlies will persist tonight and Saturday over
northern waters.
